The New Zealand Branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists would like to invite abstracts for the 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting.  Papers or posters are invited from Fellows, Educational Affiliates and Registrars, with the following prizes available.

NZ Radiology Education Trust Proffered Paper Prize
The best Proffered Paper Prize for Radiodiagnosis and Radiation Oncology, offering financial assistance to attend the 60th RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Brisbane (22-25 October 2009) to a maximum level $3,000.  New Zealand resident RANZCR Fellows and Educational Affiliates are eligible to enter.

NZ Radiology Education Trust Poster Prize
This is the best Poster Prize for Radiodiagnosis and Radiation Oncology.   The prize offers financial assistance to attend the 60th RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Brisbane (22-25 October 2009) to the level of $1500.  New Zealand resident RANZCR Fellows, Educational Affiliates and Registrars are eligible to enter.

OBEX Advancing Education Award - Best Radiology Registrar Presentation 2009
OBEX Medical has been supporting education for Radiologists for over 22 years and continues to be strongly committed to the ongoing education of both Radiology Registrars and Radiologists.

The Registrar prize has been established for 14 years and is awarded to the best Registrar Presentation.  The prize of $2500 is to assist with attending the 60th RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Brisbane (22-25 October 2009), where the winning New Zealand Paper will be presented.  New Zealand resident Radiology Registrars are eligible to enter.

Submission Instructions & Conditions

• Abstract submission must be made on the official form and in the correct format.  Incorrectly formatted abstracts will not be accepted.
• All oral presenters are required to register for the conference.
• Oral presentations will be 10 minutes in total for (7 minutes presentation with questions).
• Posters submitted should be printed portrait and fit within a standard sized board of 900mm wide and 1200mm high.

Acknowledgement & Notification
• You will receive a return email to confirm receipt of your submitted abstract.
• Oral and poster presentations will be selected from the submitted abstracts.
• Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 29 May 2009.
